7:15 PM Call Meeting to Order
7:30 PM, NOI – Franklin Residence, 485 E Central St., LEC
Resource areas on site include: bordering vegetated wetlands located east, west and south on the site. An intermittent stream runs along the eastern side of the site and the 200 ft Riverfront. Proposed, is a 4,300 sf BVW alteration and a 143 LF alteration of bank, and a 5,500 sf BVW replication and a 180 LF bank replication. A portion of the west side of the parcel is in the 200ft riverfront. The applicant claims this area is previously disturbed. There is proposed work in the 25 ft no disturb area and in the 50 ft buffer zone, such as structures and foundations.
Franklin Retirement has requested a waiver for the 25ft and 50 FT, they are altering wetlands and bank, and replicating. My recommendation is to ask them to use pervious pavers on the walkway that is proposed through the altered wetlands and any other walkways on the site. ~They should also run all the roof rain drain into the ground too.
We should also ask for a monthly report on the replication area during the growing season for two or three years.
